I am an Accredited Genealogist Professional through ICAPGenSM (The International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists). My region of accreditation is England. Other areas of specialization include the Isle of Man and South Africa.

I am also an Adjunct Instructor at Brigham Young University-Idaho, teaching Genealogical Writing in the Family History Program.

I enjoy helping people make connections to those who have gone before. Placing our ancestors in their geographic, historical, and cultural contexts helps us understand them more deeply. My search to locate my maternal grandmother started my genealogy journey, and I find great purpose in guiding clients in their own genealogy experiences. With over 12 years of professional experience, I specialize in immigration, emigration, and migration patterns, providing expert insights and assistance in tracing family histories.

Just recently I utilised the genealogy services of Sue McNelly to assist me in researching my South African ancestors which I had found to be almost impossible due to my very limited knowledge of the family history in that area. Sue was amazing in finding family and documents to confirm the relatives and was in contact regularly with me along the way. I look forward to using her services again and can highly recommend her as a "go -to" for your family history research. Di P. Melbourne, Australia
