Sara's Genealogy Research (SGR) covers all of the US with emphasis in the Midwest and Northeast. I specialize in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York and in Italian research.
I started Sara's Genealogy Research as a business in 2002 after several years of conducting private research. I believe continuing education is a fundamental ingredient towards enhancing each client's overall research experience. I offer free consultations via email. Services
Services include minimal to extensive family history research with the flexibility to handle special situations on a case by case basis. Costs are based on hourly fees and expenses which are kept to a minimum. Clients are kept informed along the way and given options, when available, to keep costs down. All clients are offered a free initial consultation via email.
This starts with a request for a summary of any previous work done and the ultimate goal of the project. The information is reviewed and a strategy is formed to locate the information required. Only after this strategy is agreed upon by both sides is a retainer required to start the research. This process provides for more realistic expectations on both sides which tends to give the client a more satisfying end result.
