My interests in research coupled with the passion to help others learn about their families led me to professional research starting in 1986.  Geographic areas of expertise include Ireland, the German speaking countries, Italian & Czech families. In the US, my specialties are Kentucky-Ohio Valley area and the mid- and south-east states.

The world our ancestors experienced is particularly important to me. I strive to provide that perspective in all my research projects and the family history books I produce. 

Each project I take on is with the same energy as I approach my own families -- as my great grandmother used to say, 'like I was killing snakes'.  I understand the need to know.
