Rachel Whiting, PhD, is a professional genealogist based in southwestern Ontario, Canada. She specializes in immigrant communities from Eastern Europe (Germany, Poland, and the former Austro-Hungarian Empire) in Canada and the Midwest United States. She is currently pursuing accreditation in the "Germany East" region through the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen).
Rachel joined Legacy Tree Genealogists as an Advanced Researcher in 2023. In this role, she has also contributed to numerous Italian Dual Citizenship applications. Her work focuses primarily on immigrants departing from Naples and Palermo.
