Quentin Burrows is an Accredited Genealogist® specializing in Irish and American research. Quentin grew up in the Chicago area and began researching his own family at an early age. Quentin came to Irish genealogy naturally, with his mother having been born and raised in Ireland and close family still living in western Ireland. He travels regularly to Europe for research and maintains dual Irish-American citizenship. Quentin has been a lead genealogist for several overseas tours and helped hundreds of clients find their family's place of origin. Before joining AncestryProGenealogists as a senior research manager more than ten years ago, he owned and operated a law firm and performed professional genealogy work for clients.
Quentin graduated with a JD degree in law from Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana. He is a former political science and history instructor at East-West University in Chicago. He has written and researched many genealogical topics related to Irish heritage. Television credits include research for NBC’s Who Do You Think You Are? and the PBS television series Finding Your Roots. Quentin has research expertise in Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, and the United States.
