Patricia A. Champion holds the position of President of Champion & Champion, a worldwide heir research firm located in San Antonio, Texas.  Ms. Champion is a licensed private investigator, professional forensic genealogist and the principal researcher for the firm.  Ms. Champion attended Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas and Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida.  Ms. Champion has conducted forensic genealogical investigation for twenty-eight years and gives lectures on the various aspects of genealogical research.  Mrs. Champion has performed research and located heirs on approximately 1000 cases for court appointed estate administrators, fiduciaries, and government agencies.  She is considered an Expert Witness in genealogy, heir research and investigation, and provided testimony and/or affidavits on hundreds of cases in District and Federal Courts, many valued over a million dollars.  Patricia A. Champion holds an active Private Investigator’s license in Texas (#00145346) and Arizona (#1649925).  She is the author of the article entitled Chasing Down Missing Heirs, published in the San Antonio Bar Association Magazine and was recently on the radio talk show The Elite (St. 1) as an expert in forensic genealogy.  She lectures at St. Mary's University - Law Clinic regarding locating heirs/beneficiaries. Member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, Texas State Genealogical Society, and former Co-Editor of Our Heritage, a quarterly magazine of the San Antonio Genealogical & Historical Society.  Patricia A. Champion continues to expand her knowledge in the genealogical and investigative fields by attending national conferences and completing credited investigational courses.  Spanish is her second language in which she can proficiently speak, read and write.   Ms. Champion’s professionalism and ethics raises the bar in the industry of heir and genealogical research.
