Cerebral Genealogy's founder, Mary Dally-Muenzmaier, has 20 years of practical experience in genealogy research, family history narrative writing, and photo and document restoration. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) and the National Genealogical Society (NGS).

Always seeking to further develop her expertise in the field, Mary successfully completed the Genealogical Research Certificate program through Boston University's Center for Professional Education in 2018. Mary also holds a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM).

The majority of Mary's genealogy research experience has been focused on immigrant families of both Western and Eastern European origin, as well as England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, who settled in the State of Wisconsin and the larger Great Lakes Region, including Eastern and Central Canada. But her interest in and knowledge of the histories and genealogies of families of all backgrounds--including African, Latino, Asian, Arabic, Jewish, and Native American families--of geographic areas across the United States is ever-expanding.

Whether a client is just beginning the journey of discovery into their family history or they've been engaged in their own exploration for some time but find their research hitting brick walls, all projects submitted to Cerebral Genealogy are given full and thoughtful consideration.

Mary is also available as a consultant to non-profits, foundations, and other institutions that have special projects requiring professional genealogy and/or digital restoration experience.
