My genealogical journey began in 1986 at my paternal grandmother’s funeral when a woman introduced herself to me as my grandmother’s first cousin – my grandmother was adopted following the death of her mother in childbirth in 1898. The existence of a blood relative fascinated me. The fact that she was a genealogist was a bonus. I was hooked.

Now, after 35 years of researching my own family, I am applying my in-depth experience to share the gift of family history.

In addition to my German, English, Irish and Scottish lines research, I am Historian of the Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants, from 2007-2012 & 2015-present. I have worked with applicants to complete more than 225 new member and supplemental applications.
