Mark is a New Jersey-based professional genealogist, lecturer, and co-founder of DiscoverURhistory, a genealogy, family history and house history research firm. His areas of genealogical research include New Jersey/New York, Germany, Ireland, Galicia (Poland), Austrian-Silesia (present-day Czechia) and Slovakia.

Mark has presented lectures on Ancestry.com, death records, burial records and cemetery research for New Jersey libraries and genealogy societies. His presentations include sessions at GSNJ’s 2019 and 2022 Annual Seminars, as well as lectures and webinars for the Livingston Public Library, Washington Township Library, Newark Public Library, Sussex County Library, the Morris Area Genealogy Society (MAGS), and the Passaic County Historical Society Genealogy Club.

Mark is a member of the Genealogical Society of New Jersey (GSNJ), Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), and National Genealogical Society (NGS). He currently serves on Bloomfield Township’s Historic Preservation Commission and is a trustee of the Historical Society of Bloomfield.
