Lise K. Doss

Eternally curious, discovering forgotten family history is my passion.
Doss Genealogy Research
Principal

I have 30+ years' experience researching families in the northeastern U.S. and the American South and I enjoy researching clients' families as much as researching my own. I speak, read and write Spanish fluently as a result of living for four years in Argentina, attending college there for two of those years. I also studied French for seven years and lived in Dresden, Germany for a year. I graduated from ProGen in 2018 and plan to work to become certified by the Board for Certification of Genealogists. I live in Travis County, Texas, within an hour of the following Texas county courthouses: Bastrop, Blanco, Caldwell, Comal, Hays and Travis, where I can do onsite research. I am also close to the Texas State Library and Archives, the Austin History Center, the Texas General Land Office, the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History, and other libraries on the UT Austin campus.
