Lisa Smith is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a licensed private investigator, and a professional genealogist. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (National and South Central Chapter) as well as the Texas Bay Area Genealogical Society, where she previously served as President, Vice President, and Secretary. Ms. Smith is a licensed private investigator in Texas and belongs to the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators. She was previously licensed in New Hampshire and served as Editor of the New Hampshire League of Investigators' quarterly newsletter and on their Cold Case committee. She began her career in computer programming moving into the medical field before pursuing a career in investigation and research. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Criminal Justice. Ms. Smith has presented at genealogical societies, churches, and colleges and is published in the Texas Bay Area Genealogical Society newsletter and journal. Her interests are Greek, Ukrainian, and Swedish genealogy, and she enjoys teaching genealogical methodology to everyone.Her research, language, and genealogy skills fit perfectly into her investigation work and her love of solving puzzles.
