With a master’s degree in history, more than two decades of experience in genealogy, and a successful career helping and teaching other researchers in archives and historical institutions, I truly understand the complexities inherent to this field. During my tenure as an archivist, researcher, and genealogical educator, I have helped thousands of clients discover their ancestral roots and now I’d like to help you do the same!

I have diverse U.S. research experience and specialize in 18th and 19th century Mid-Atlantic genealogy and historic property research, with a particular interest in the enslaved communities of northern Maryland and Delaware. I have been working successfully with DNA for over a decade and, in addition to working with those seeking unknown parents, I also have advanced education and training in forensic investigative genetic genealogy.
