Kim Thurman is an independent genealogy researcher and presenter. Pursuing her passion for genealogical research, she transitioned from a career in operations and supply chain management to a professional genealogist in 2019. She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from the Boston University Center for Professional Education and is a graduate of ProGen 46. Kim is a former president of the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society in Medford, Oregon. She holds memberships in the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, and numerous regional organizations.
In addition to volunteering for genealogical societies in various roles, Kim has served as a Coordinator for ProGen Study Groups (ProGen 56) and a Mentor for GenProof Study Groups (GenProof 78).
