Are you curious about your past or where you come from? Have you ever wanted your family tree explored and researched? Do you just need help filling in some gaps or have you stumbled across a brick wall while doing your own research? Let Ancestry Life help.
My name is Ken Black and I have been doing family history and research for over 30 years. I can help you establish kinship, find distant relatives, locate documents, analyze DNA matches, adoptee searches and much more. Simple multi-generation trees back to pioneer settlers to lines going back to your family homeland. Family history has been a long time passion of mine and over the years I have helped many clients figure out who they are and where they are from.
My specialties include the Mid-Atlantic region, specifically, Virginia and West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey although I can research any area needed. Other areas I have explored for my clients include Italian immigrants to the United States through Castle Garden and Ellis Island (along with other Western European countries), Georgia and Southern states and numerous other locations. I also have a passion for military lineages from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War. I can help establish SAR/DAR connections, locate Civil War pension files along with WWI and WWII draft registration cards of your ancestors.
I offer a free consultation to discuss your project and to form a rough outline of the research needed. I can then put together a formal outline and time frame along with an estimate for your approval. Rates vary depending on the complexity and detail needed for your project and I can detail your project to fit into your budget as well.
In addition to my research I can provide professionally printed hardbound books and posters of your family history. They not only make great gifts for family members but they can also be handed down from generation to generation.
