From a centuries-old tribe in Ireland, to 1613 Jamestown, Virginia, to discovering an ancestor that served in the Continental Army, our genealogical journeys can lead us to unknown and exciting paths.

My interest in genealogy sparked years ago when researching a notorious branch of my family tree. Research into my branch of this family proved difficult due to inaccurate information provided by multiple sources. I solved the puzzle by learning proper research methodology – the first of many. I have since documented nine ancestors that contributed to the American Revolution and have traced my ancestry to 1613 Jamestown, Virginia. As a result of my research, I have obtained membership in the Jamestowne Society and the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. I am the current Lt. Governor of the Jamestowne Society's Roanoke New River Valley Company.

In addition to multiple institute certificates, I hold a certificate in American Genealogical Studies from the National Genealogical Society. My genealogical research focus is primarily on the southeastern and upper southern regions of the United States. Genealogy is a passion and it is a privilege to help others discover their lineage. What unknown ancestors are waiting to be discovered in your family tree?
