Kecia G. Lifton

A passion for breaking through brick walls using DNA and traditional research

Kecia's genealogical experience began over 20 years ago with researching her own family, which included documenting her Mayflower ancestry and obtaining membership in the society. She enjoys helping others discover the richness of their own family histories, and specializes in using DNA to solve family mysteries.

Kecia holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from the Boston University Center for Adult Education (OL34). She has completed the Mastering Genealogical Documentation, Mastering Genealogical Proof and ProGen study groups, and has attended numerous institutes and workshops.

Kecia is a member of APG, NGS, NYGBS, NEHGS, and several local and specialized societies.
