A professional genealogist for twenty years, Katie has a bachelor's degree in Family History/Genealogy from Brigham Young University. She is a former adjunct faculty member and course developer with BYU-Idaho’s Family History Research program. Her volunteer work has included serving as the director of FamilySearch's Virginia Records Project, Co-Director of the Virginia Family History Day conference and as a board member of the Virginia Genealogical Society. She lives with her family in Northern Virginia.
