Kari Meyer is a Professional Genealogist and Researcher with Legacy Tree Genealogists located outside of Rexburg, Idaho. Kari also teaches online Family History classes as an adjunct instructor for Brigham Young University-Idaho. Combined, her personal and professional genealogical pursuits span nearly two decades, ten years of which have been focused on African American and French genealogy. She is a member of the Texas State Genealogical Society and the Arkansas Genealogical Society as well as the Colonial Dames lineage society. She is a past chairman of lineage applications for the Star of Destiny Chapter of the Colonial Dames and has been a volunteer on the presentation team for ICAPGen as well as a mentor for ICAPGen’s study groups.  Her niche areas include African American genealogy, Deep South U.S., Colonial Virginia, and French research.
