I have been involved in genealogical endeavors since I was a child, which is a long time ago now. I continue the search. Besides research, for myself and others, I enjoy helping others get started, as well as making the most-used sites more understandable. I love working with and teaching how to work with DNA results. I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Bainbridge Island Genealogical Society, the Manchester and Lancashire Family History Society, and others. I have presented at various events throughout the United States. I teach family history locally, as well as making presentations both in person and virtually for various organizations. I am a 2023 recipient of the Washington State Genealogical Society Outstanding Volunteer Award.
