Hello,
I'm a Canadian genealogist living in Canada. I started practicing genealogy as a hobby in 1991 in London, England while living there. Since then I have kept at it, taken courses, researched hundreds of family trees, and helped people learn more about where they came from.
My favourite thing is helping people plan genealogy and heritage trips to experience the places their ancestors knew. I am an occasional travel writer and love to travel.
I am also fascinated by immigration and emigration, and the family stories that go along with that.
I am most familiar with Canada, England, and Wales. If an ancestor originated in the British Isles, I will attempt to follow them around the world as needed, including to Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and other English-speaking places.
I have degrees in Geography, Law, and Business (MBA), and a diploma in Cultural Resource Management. I'm a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in the UK.
I have experience with DNA research.
Let me know how I can help you.
