I’ve been researching my own and others’ family history for more than 25 years. Specializing in Southern US genealogy, I hold 3 firm beliefs:

1. Learn something new every day.
2. Nobody was “just a farmer.”
3. Everybody has a story worth telling.

When I'm not doing family history research, DNA, or brick wall demolition, I'm also a speaker and writer.

"This [genealogy report] is graduate-thesis level work." - Sanford Chandler, Cherokee County (GA) Cemetery Preservation Committee

"Jennifer Dunn is the perfect genealogist and researcher! She is smart, curious, methodical and loves to track down an obscure paper trail! She has amazing technical skills, so she is not intimidated by large databases. She is an excellent writer and teacher, presenting information in a concise, easy to follow format. She has solved a number of Cherokee County mysteries and completed numerous projects for History Cherokee. We highly recommend her and CopperMineGenealogy.com." - Stefanie Joyner, Executive Director, History Cherokee

I had some very specific questions about several fortunate drawers in a couple of Georgia Land Lotteries that required additional research at the Georgia Archives.  Jennifer did a wonderful job, providing me with a very professional report on her findings, along with images of all the information.  She was a pleasure to work with and I won't hesitate to call on her again. - Linda Hammock, Georgia

We’re really pleased with how thorough and professional [this genealogy report] is — especially the “next steps” suggestions. Great stuff! - Steve Traut, New Jersey
