I was born in Brazil, but all my ancestors are from present-day Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. My first genealogical project was obviously my own family tree, which I started building more than 40 years ago – and I'm still working on it! As you well know, this never ends...
Later, I worked for 4 years at the Hungarian Consulate General in São Paulo, helping families of Hungarian origin to analyze the documents of their ancestors to apply for Hungarian citizenship.
After returning to Budapest, I decided to become a professional genealogist and probate researcher, so I joined MACSE, the Hungarian Association of Genealogists and founded my own office, called Hungenealogy.
My goal is to help as many families as possible to trace their Hungarian roots, wherever they may live in the world. My genealogical researches are mainly in Hungary and in areas that belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary before the Treaty of Trianon. I also offer help with genealogical tourism and the preparation of hand-painted family trees and reports on family history.
