Testimonials
Susan in North Carolina:
"Sometimes we forget how short life is. Reflecting on my life, I realized that much of my family history, knowledge, and stories are gone with my deceased loved ones. My parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles have passed and recently my cousins have started to pass away.
In January 2021 I wanted to learn about my family history and started researching on FamilySearch.org (the Mormon Church site) and Ancestry.com, as well as Newpapers.com, Find a Grave.com, and other miscellaneous online sites. I started by trying to create a family tree and documenting what I was finding online and quickly became overwhelmed by the amount of information, and became confused by inaccurate and conflicting findings, and not knowing if the person with the same name as a family member was my family ancestor or relative. So, after I compiled what I could, I consulted and worked with Fred Fuller, the genealogist at Huron Genealogy, to help sort out facts from false or confusing findings.
I was introduced to Fred Fuller by a friend. Fred and I had an initial phone call, and I hired him even though we currently live in different parts of the country. I live in central North Carolina and Fred lives in Michigan.
Fred is not only a professional, but he is very kind and was patient with me as I wanted to know as much as I could about every ancestor and family relative. He was always available for consult, and it was amazing some of the facts that he uncovered. Some of the facts he found are so interesting and made for a great story!
Hiring Fred was a great decision. He traced my dad’s family back to 1592 and he found the location of where they immigrated from in England and found where many of my ancestral relatives lived throughout the years. Not only did I get a family tree, but Fred turned my family history into a story. A story that has made me feel connected to my ancestors through his thorough and accurate research and photographs. I now have a Family History document that I can pass on to my relatives."
Elsie M. in Richmond, Michigan:
