Franchesca Werden is a professional genealogist specializing in Italian genealogical research and forensic genealogy. She has over thirty-five years of experience conducting Italian genealogical research. Franchesca works with clients who want to learn more about their Italian ancestors or who wish to reclaim their right to Italian citizenship by descent. She frequently lectures about Italian research and dual citizenship. Franchesca taught the dual citizenship module for the institute course, Beyond Fundamentals: Handson Forensic Genealogy which has been presented at both SLIG and GRIP. Her company also provides probate and estate research to a number of law firms. Franchesca is on the teaching team for Boston University’s Genealogical Principles course. She holds a B.S. from Boston University in Broadcasting and Film and is a graduate of B.U.'s Certificate in Genealogical Research program.
