Ellen Del Colle is a Westchester native who has been a writer and researcher for about four decades. Drawing on her interest in history, she transitioned from a career as a business writer to one of a researcher and writer. By undertaking only one-to-two projects at a time, Ellen provides consierge service to ensure each client’s goals are met or exceeded. She traces ancestors, seeks missing heirs and creates family trees, applying her investigative skills to explain family relationships. In recent years she has been a research consultant for an Emmy-award winning TV series; an international genealogical research corporation; attorneys; private investigators; executors and bank officers. Projects have required inquiries and record searches in the U.S., Canada, Italy, Germany, Ireland, France & Puerto Rico. All work is performed in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the Association of Professional Genealogists & the Guidelines of the National Genealogical Society.
