We provide full-service genealogy services. Examples would be:
•             Forensic DNA research and analysis for adoptees, adopted ancestors, or biological parents, resulting in a report showing our forensic discoveries, conclusions, and next steps.
•             Research your family history from what you already know to the furthest ancestors of interest.
Those ancestors could have participated in the Civil War, the Revolutionary War, immigrant ancestors, or your overseas ancestors. The discoveries are recorded in a family legacy narrative.
•             Work on dead-end lines where your progress has been limited.
•             We build beautiful family history books with your legacy narrative, stories, pictures, and historical documents collated and bound in a leather-covered book that your family will treasure.
•             Use your research to build a family history book.

We have lots of experience, having built over 100 family history books. In addition, we have discovered many thousands of ancestors through forensic DNA and conventional GPS (Genealogical Proof Standard) research.

Here is our process:
•             We listen to your story and concerns, ask questions, and discuss your priorities during our free consultation.
•             We provide a template allowing you to record your priorities to ensure we are all on the same page.
•             We will work with you to gather what you already know. That includes accessing online trees, online DNA results (we guide you through sharing), pages of family history, or completing a template we provide for you. If you do not know much, that is fine, as our job is to fill in the blanks.
•             We conduct research using Ancestry.com, Daughters of the American Revolution, FamilySearch, Findagrave, Find My Past, MyHeritage, WikiTree, subscription newspaper databases, subscription archive databases, lots of national and ethnic-specific research sites with databases well over 100 in total. We use Ancestry.com, Family Tree DNA, Gedmatch, MyHeritage, and 23andme for forensic DNA research.
•             We typically work in ten-hour increments. At the end of each ten-hour segment, we provide a report or updated narrative showing what we discovered in our search. This process allows you to ask questions as we go. Then, we agreed on how to use the next ten hours (if needed) and went back to researching.
•             I spent 42 years managing productivity and have established a simple and efficient process for conducting research and building narratives.
•             Depending upon the size of the project, we can take as little as a few weeks to a few months. However, we will be communicating throughout the search.
