With over 20 years of passion and expertise in genealogy, I hold qualifications in Genealogy and have delved into the histories of my family across Scotland, Ireland, and in the case of my Husbands the Netherlands. My postgraduate qualification is complemented by numerous short university courses in Genealogy, History, Social History, Creative Writing and World War History.

My experience includes years of dedicated service with a Scottish Clan Association and a Family History Society, where I served in various roles, including Vice President. I have a particular interest in WWI and WWII Air Force Research, which led me to create the 'Allied Air Force Research' website and work as an Archivist and Researcher with several Air Force Societies. Additionally, I research court documents for local crimes, including murder cases, and am currently conducting a one-place study for my local Parish of New Monkland in Lanarkshire.

At Treehouse Genealogy, I offer a professional yet friendly service to help clients uncover their ancestral roots. We avoid confusing research packages, preferring instead to offer our services at an hourly rate. This allows clients to tailor the research to their specific needs, whether it's an entire family tree, a single line, a particular relative, or just checking a few documents.

We provide a free initial consultation to determine the feasibility of your search and a research proposal estimating the required hours. Our services include Ancestral and Military Research, House/Building Histories, Place Histories, Virtual Visits, Ancestral Tour Planning, Research and Tracing of Known Descendants, Genealogy Workshops/Talks, and Air Force Research.
