Christopher D. Bryant is a professional genealogist,  writer, editor, family heirloom preservationist, historian, lecturer/presenter, oral historian/interviewer, reunion planner, cemetery researcher, and transcriber.

He is the founder and researcher of C.D. Bryant Genealogy as well as a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APGen) and Dallas Genealogical Society (DGS).

He specializes in African American, Native American, and Hispanic history and culture while also analyzing DNA to assist in uncovering family mysteries. Along with these specialties, Christopher is an active volunteer for Find A Grave and a transcriber of new records that are recently digitized.

He presents and lectures regularly for genealogy events, sharing various methods he uses to solve challenging genealogical problems as well as emphasizing the importance of documenting our history both fully and accurately!
