Carol Genung currently works as a Project Manager with Legacy Tree Genealogists. As a professional genealogist, Carol has researched, written, and lectured on a variety of genealogy topics. Helping others throughout their genealogy journeys has become one of her greatest passions. She has over 30 years of genealogical experience and holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University. She is also a graduate of the 18-month Professional Genealogy Study Program (ProGen) and has earned many certificates from advanced institute courses. Her extensive IT background provides her with excellent project management and organization skills that allow her to easily navigate the digital genealogy field.
Carol is active in a number of genealogical organizations including the Milwaukee Genealogical Society, where she currently serves as President, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), as a Past Regent and Registrar.
