I have been a co-owner of several very successful companies that my husband founded. The success of these businesses has finally given me the time to pursue my own career goals. As vice president of our companies, I have a large variety of skills and experience to add to any team.

I have been an independent family history researcher for over 14 years now. My main focus was on my own family tree stemming from Ireland, Scotland, and Germany. My ability to navigate, research, and organize using the various online software programs, my own organizational innovations, and record discovery have allowed me to grow my direct ancestry tree to over 1200 individuals dating back to the 1600s.

My success with my own tree created the attention of other family and friend clients. I have helped research Finnish ancestry for specific documents to apply for dual Finnish citizenship, successfully created a 5 generational family tree for a client that didn’t know her biological father, I’ve used DNA results to fill in gaps, and used Family Search to help hundreds of people get Temple work done. I also volunteer to do indexing and answer genealogical questions on various websites and forums as well as other projects.

My goals for the coming year(s) are to become educated in genetic and forensic genealogy, helping adoptees find their birth families, volunteer my services to gain more education and to become certified with the BCG.
