• Research – Answer a specific question using available resources in a mutually agreed upon time frame. You will receive a written report with cited sources, analysis, and a conclusion.

• Consulting – Do you love the thrill of following the clues, but are not sure what direction to go next to reach your research goals? After a review of your current research, I can develop a plan to guide you in the next steps to answer your family history mysteries.

• Archive/Library Visit – Do you live far away from the library or archive that has the information you need? Save travel time and money in this cost-effective option. I regularly visit several locations. 

• Letters/Journals Transcription – Did you inherit a stack of old family letters or a box of diaries? They can be a great source of family information and lore. Make it easier to remember what information is included by transcribing the contents into a readable, searchable, and shareable document. 

• Special Projects – Have an idea that is not included above? Let’s talk about your family history goals.

 
Discovering and documenting my family’s Ohio ancestry began twenty years ago, after I found a box filled with old photos, notes and a handwritten family tree created by my maternal grandmother. Since then, I have discovered landowners, farmers, mothers with 12 children, coal miners, city dwellers, church founders, tailors, soldiers, and even a gold prospector out west. I love  finding connections to the past!
