During her twenty years of working for a law firm, she became familiar with locating, searching, retrieving, and reviewing court, agency, computer, and business documents. She is a graduate of ProGen, holds a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University, and continues to advance her studies in historical studies, social history, and genealogy. She has received advanced training in Law, Land, Genetic Genealogy, Advanced Methods, Fundamentals, and Forensics.
She has taught classes at the Tucson Family History Fair and is a frequent guest speaker at genealogy societies and clubs throughout Arizona. She is the co-founder and past President of the Pima County Genealogy Society and serves on the National Genealogy Society Delegate Steering Committee. She holds memberships in the Arizona Association of Licensed Private Investigators, the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Arizona Historical Society, and numerous state societies. Amy also serves on the State Lineage and DNA Committees and as Treasurer of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Tucson Chapter.
Amy volunteers her time on the Arizona DAR State Lineage Committee and is a proud member of several organizations, including NGS, APG, DAR, Arizona Association of Licensed Private Investigators, and the Arizona Genealogical Advisory Board. Beyond her professional pursuits, Amy is a taphophile, specializes in death records, an enthusiastic collector of mourning artifacts and is fascinated by the study of historical mourning practices.Private Investigation
