Amy has had a lifelong passion for family history research and spent the bulk of her childhood walking through cemeteries pondering about the lives her ancestors led before her. This morphed into an adult obsession to locate and detail as much evidence and information as possible on her direct ancestral and cousin lines and to help others do the same. A combined boots on the ground approach in tandem with extensive online research skills has allowed Amy to follow her passion as a part-time side hustle assisting others in their quest to find out more about their family history.

Amy specializes in early Pennsylvania settlers, Irish immigrants, and genetic genealogy. She can also assist with helping to prove lineage to DAR as she is a current member in good standing who worked diligently to prove her own Revolutionary War lineage. While these are her primary research subjects, she also has extensive research in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Additionally, Amy's focus on Irish immigration hones in on migration to the United States, England, New Zealand, and Australia with particular interest in coal region Irish (Schuylkill and Northumberland counties of Pennsyvlania, Butte Montana, and Cumbria (formerly Cumberland) England).

Contact Amy if you have a family research question or project you would like to discuss.
