My love for family history began thirty years ago when my family moved to England for my four years of high school. While there, we participated in the 1881 census project and visited the Yorkshire archives on school breaks to research our genealogy.

I went to Brigham Young University and earned a BS and MAcc in accounting and tax. I also have a master’s in library and information science from Rutgers University. I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with an AAS in family history research and BS in professional studies.

I am a certified public librarian in North Carolina and hold certificates in family history research and advanced family history research from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Because of adoption within my own family, I love helping people identify their birth families through the miracle of DNA.

I am very comfortable researching in the United States, British Isles, and Sweden. I have also done a small amount of client work specializing in African American, Native American, and Italian heritage research.
