APG is pleased to announce that Sandra Roberts, of Broomfield, Colorado, USA, has been named as the new Information Technology (IT) Administrator for the organization. She is the owner of GenMetadata, offering technology and publication services to clients, specializing in education, history, and genealogy. Her clients include groups such as the International Society for British Genealogy and Family History and the Wales-Ireland-Scotland-England Family History Society.

An experienced information technology professional, Roberts has decades of knowledge working in a variety of technical and writing environments—large and small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and higher education. She has an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Regis University and an M.A. in English from Mercy College.

“I am delighted to have Sandra join our team of high-performing professionals who support our membership every day,” said APG Executive Director Michelle Dwyer Cohen. APG’s IT Administrator contract position supports both the public-facing interface of the APG website apgen.org, which helps users find genealogical professionals, and the association management platform that handles all member interactions.
