APG Seeking IT Administrator – Contract Position

The Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) is seeking qualified candidates to fill the contractor position of IT Administrator. The deadline to apply is 28 January 2025 at 8 pm Eastern time.

The IT Administrator contract position supports both the public-facing interface of the APG website, which helps users find genealogical professionals, and the association management platform that handles all member interactions.

The APG IT Administrator contract position reports to the Executive Director (ED), who in turn reports to the Executive Committee.

Responsibilities and Deliverables: The contracted IT Administrator shall have the following responsibilities and deliverables, all of which are subject to change. Ownership of Work: All work created in this position is work for hire and the property of APG.

Candidate Requirements: Applicants should have at least five years of experience in managing websites, and a working knowledge of Google Analytics. Previous experience using association management software would also be an asset in this position.  APG membership is preferred, but not required.

Consideration for Services: This is a remote, part-time contract position.  Over the term of the annual contract, APG's payment for services will be between US$12,000 -$15,000.
