APG Quarterly Advertising

The Association of Professional Genealogists Quarterly, published in March, June, September, and December, is sent to over 1,600 members worldwide. The majority of APG members are professional genealogists operating in small business or home office settings. Archives, libraries, genealogical societies, or other genealogical support services comprise about five percent of the membership. As a result, the reach of the Quarterly goes well beyond the individual genealogist, making it the only journal of its kind for this market.

Articles run the gamut from the basics of getting started as a professional genealogist, to tips on running a home office or small business, to professional research techniques. From all indications, most members read the Quarterly from cover to cover.

The APG Quarterly is a professionally produced publication developed for professionals in a rapidly growing field. According to a recent survey by Maritz Marketing Research, 60 percent of Americans are at least somewhat interested in tracing their family history, up from 45 percent in 1995. ADVERTISING GUIDELINES:

All advertisements must meet APG's criteria for quality of design and typesetting.

Ads should be submitted electronically. Acceptable file formats include Adobe InDesign or Illustrator, Portable Document Format (.pdf), or PostScript file (.ps). Contact the editor with any questions about these specifications.

Borders will separate ads located on the same page.

APG reserves the right to refuse any advertisement.

No advertisement will be accepted or reserved until full payment is received.
