Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Submit a paper or e-mail copy of the manuscript, typed and double-spaced. Along with a paper copy, submit the article on an IBM-compatible diskette (3.5 inches) with the file in ASCII and your usual word processor format (please specify format, such as Microsoft Word (any version) or Word Perfect (any version) preferred. Articles should be formatted to be flush left; please do not use indents or tabs. Use two paragraph returns between paragraphs. Do not use any abbreviations, all capital letters, or underlining. Bold and italics are acceptable. The author's name should appear on the title page only along with a four-sentence bio. Articles will be evaluated by our Editorial Board anonymously. Reference notes should be grouped together at the end of the manuscript and double-spaced. Guidelines recommended for citing sources may be in The Chicago Manual of Style, 14th edition, and Richard S. Lackey's Cite Your Sources.

Charts, graphs, and other illustrations should be camera-ready on 8.5 x 11-inch paper with 1.5 inch margins all around. Average article length is 1,000 to 2,500 words but should not exceed 3,500 words including endnotes. If manuscripts and/or diskettes are to be returned, a self-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient postage should be included. Authors should always keep a paper and computer copy of their manuscript. Contributions should be sent to Matthew Wright, APGQ Editor, 1108 N. Oakmont Lane, Provo UT 84604, or e-mail to editor@apgen.org.
